Our newest “must-see” show at the Walt Disney World Resort – “Disney Movie Magic” – has debuted at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and today we’re excited to share more details about this one-of-a-kind cinematic experience.
Each night this summer, “Disney Movie Magic” is transforming the iconic Grauman’s Chinese Theatre at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with special lighting and state-of-the-art projection mapping technology to put you right in the middle of a celebration of Disney films.
And we’re sure Disney Parks Blog readers are able to recognize many of the movie moments during “Disney Movie Magic.” The show features dozens of them, from Disney classics like “Mary Poppins” to contemporary blockbusters such as “Pirates of the Caribbean, ” the Indiana Jones adventures and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.” Also, each high-energy show spans a variety of different genres including musicals, romance, comedy, classics, fantasy, sci-fi and adventure.

It was the most uncomfortable experience I have ever had in my life. We were the only people there, they had us park in a back alley and come through the back door. I really felt in fear for my life. It felt like a seen from Criminal Minds. I left and did not stay for the show.
The beauty of the theater, his fabulous costume and the popcorn along with can soda. His one trick with the rope was great. Nothing was new however. He was a very nice charismatic gentleman who enjoyed the audience. Updating with lights and background would help this cripple show.

Unclose and personal magic show….very talented illusionist... extremely nice magician who creates a family among the attendees in 5 minutes….. loved it more than other available magic shows on the strip.
This was the best magic show I’ve ever seen. The host was extremely accommodating, gracious and oh, so talented! It was up close and personal. Celebrating our granddaughters 10th birthday, this was a great hit! Can’t recommend highly enough. 💜💜
The show was very intimate! We had the entire theater to ourselves. Dirk was so friendly.. he’s a one man show! He greeted us, served us popcorn and soda and hen did our little show. The kids were completely wow’d! More for blowing away kids than adults though! Perfect place for families!

We came to Vegas from Salt Lake City Ut. After the long boring drive we needed something for my daughter that was fun. We found this magic show. It was very intertaining. They interact with the crowd. Jason the manager text before the show to make sure We were coming. Gave us directions. We had a wonderful experience and didn't have to drain our pocket book. I would recommend this to anyone looking for good cheap entertainment for any age.
This show is a hidden gem! My entire family loved it! It’ a small and intimate venue so you feel part of the show! You will have plenty of opportunities to participate in the show! Some of the tricks will blow off your mind! Good for all ages. Highly recommended and we will definitely will go again soon!

We met the Magician and was able to have a pleasant conversation before the venue. He was super accommodating with our family. His assistant was very polite and helpful with directions and rebooking the event. The show was super kid friendly. The show will blow you away since its so up close and personal. I loved his story line as the Magician transitioned from one trick to the other.
Very high marks for friendly, welcoming environment & great entertainment. We were trying to look for hidden wires & slights of hand, but we didn’t see anything. Magician was awesome!!

It was great being so close to the magicians! It was also fun because there was a lot of audience participation. Our teenage boys loved it and talked about it all night. The staff were all very nice. One of the highlights of our Spring Break trip!
I was surprised at how small and old the venue was. Seating was for all of about 12 people with no ability for social distancing. The show itself was really good! The magician had a good story and really good tricks. It was a nice show for the time and price.
